Introductory remarks:

In principio / O virga ac diadema ( Hildegarda de Bingen, XII Century). Two versions of Hildegard on the experience of certainty, the intimate image of truth. Two chanted texts inspired by mystical experience and therefore the fruit of a revelation, both musical and discursive. Both are a synthesis of spiritual experiences lived and transmitted as a new reality or truth, without imposition, in an intimate perception. We will analyse the fact that the music, very characteristic of the abbess and far removed from the Gregorian canons of her time, reinforces the fact of creation and the femininity of the symbol of Mary.
