Matthias Jung, since 2010 full professor for philosophy at Koblenz University. His research focus is on philosophical anthropology, embodied cognition, ethics, and philosophy of religion.

Among his books are “Erfahrung und Religion” (Experience and Religion, 1999), “Der bewusste Ausdruck. Anthropologie der Artikulation” (The Conscious Expression. Anthropology of Articulation, 2009), “Gewöhnliche Erfahrung (Ordinary Experience, 2009), “Science, Humanism, and Religion” (2019), “Leben und Bedeutung” (Life and Meaning, 2023) and “Sinn und Organismus” (Meaning and Organism, 2026).
